Good afternoon,
I want to invite you to a place of prayer, not just for our city, but our whole state and region. The words I have heard the last few days are this could be a “historic storm”. Snow is fun for many, but ice, ice storms can be detrimental to communities and deadly. I’ve personally been through at least 2 and the storm of 2009 was a sheriff’s deputy here in Washington County. The storm crippled our responses and services to our communities. It was a grueling few weeks. I pray our area doesn’t receive this type of storm again. Please pray for our state and the surrounding ones facing these threats.
I ask that you pray for the safety of first responders, lineman, wrecker services, medical services, and those who will have to respond in this storm. Check on the elderly, and ones who may need help during this storm.
As always Colleen, the kids, and I are praying for you and your family along with our state. If you need anything during this event please reach out to myself, pastor T, or one of our elders.
In Christ love and service.
Pastor Zach.
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.””
John 13:34-35 ESV
